Physical Education
It is a known fact that physical activity improves overall health. Not only does it improve circulation, increase blood flow to the brain, and raise endorphin levels, which all help to reduce stress, improve mood and attitude, and calm children, physically active students may also achieve more academically. Physically fit students are less likely to miss school, partake in risky behaviours, which are all associated with better outcomes in school (Taras, 2005).
Volleyball
Participation in volleyball provides people with a special opportunity to enhance physical health while learning the value of teamwork, composure, and perseverance. Volleyball is a great game for building character. Individuals who learn how to play and excel in volleyball can also develop habits and attitudes which will help them succeed in other areas of life.
Basketball
Basketball is a very exciting sport. The best thing is, you dont HAVE to be special... tall, experienced, short, fast, or slow... You don't have to be a natural. Playing basketball is fun. You meet friends and learn to play on a team.
Track & Field
Track and Field suits people of many different abilities. For example, the very fast people do sprints, the people that have endurance do long distance, the people that are good at forcing heavy things do shot put, the people good at running and jumping do hurdles. If you're good at ultimate frisbee - the discus throw is good, if you like throwing thin things - the javelin throw is the name, jumpers have long jump, triple jump, and high jump, and if you get lots of fast people and wish you can combine your times - you can always do relays. There is always something going on at the track!
Badminton
Badminton is a recreational game providing a large range of physical movement which exercises the body and gives the players the feeling of fitness and well being so essential for good health. There is the opportunity to perform sprints, twists and turns, bends and stretches, jumps and landings, and quick changes of directions as well as using a large range of strokes to hit the shuttlecock with more or less power. The variety of movement appeals to many players. Why not give it a try and see for yourself!
